I installed the Beta because I read that Prayer Lists were not included. However, I find the new Prayer List feature to fall woefully short of the standard set in L3. Scheduling has only a single option for number of days to repeat. I cannot find a way to set a start date.

I hope that many improvements are planned for this feature, for at the present it is unusable for me. This is the one thing I miss from L3.

Under the request, click the word "day" on the option to pray for this request "every day",  At the bottom of the dialogue is the option to set a start and stop date.  You can also choose specific days, etc., choose to pray for it every week or month.  It's actually more flexible than L3 for my purposes.

I think v4 is way better, hope the graphic helps

I would however request a confirmation box for the delete, have deleted several by accident

It's very subtle, but "every" and "day" are two separate dropdown menus (note the tiny triangles below and to the right of their dotted lines):

DominicM,

+1 -- totally agree, here. (I've deleted several by mistake, too).  I, for one, don't mind an "Are You Sure?" before something goes away for ever.

A subtle Easter Egg. Next time, I will do more hunting prior to posting Embarrassed

Thanks for the graphic

Thanks to all who responded. I now repent with bitter tears. I will go back to the Beta and see if I can make an intelligent comment.

No need for embarrassment. You might have actually asked the question that others had and didn't think to ask, and our answers will help not just you but others. No question is stupid except the unasked one. Then again, I find that when you phrase something as a question rather than a complaint, you don't feel so silly afterwards if there is a logical answer.

Thanks, Dan. Smile  I'm not sure they'd have much use for my diploma, see; I've got a DipCS (Diploma in Christian Studies)... Wink

Jack, I personally prefer to appear uneducated rather than stupid Surprise and after a couple of "Duh" moments where someone pointed out my error, I now start out assuming that I am doing something the wrong way, rather than assume the program is incomplete.

Disclaimer: This post was in no way meant to imply that I thought (or you actually are) that you are stupid Jack.

A point that I frequently emphasize to those I teach.

You make me feel very useful. After all, it has been said that laughter lengthens a person's life. Cool

I like it when people ask easy questions, because that means I don't have to. I miss the simplest things all the time
