Why has my system stopped auto updating? It auto updated A9, but ever since that, I have had to manually update. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If you've set either "use internet" or "automatically download updates" to "no", then it won't automatically download updates. You can reset these via the command bar by typing "set use internet to yes" and/or "set automatically download updates to yes" and selecting the proper suggestion from the list.

Additionally, you can always download the latest version here: http://www.logos.com/logos4mac

I downloaded from the link you gave because the download didn't start automatically, nor is it indexing. I don't know what the problem is but its not downloading or Indexing.

Thanks Cameron, I have set both of those items to Yes, we will see what happens when A14 comes out. God bless you.

I assume you downloaded Alpha 13 manually then? No sense running Alpha 9 in the mean time.

I have been able to download mac Alpha 12, and currently the computer says it is downloading an update; however, it has been 5 hours now and the download is still 0% downloaded of the 1.37 Gigs needed.  My computer is set to internet and to auto download, and it is sitting beside the WiFi router.  Any ideas what will provoke it to do something?

We are at Mac Alpha 13, so you will need to get the latest release.  The link is in the Release Notes for Alpha 13 at the top of this forum.

Jerry, you need to run "Rebuild Index" again. Looks like the index got corrupted. I will say that I know that there were some fixes checked in between A12 and A13 so this issue should be fixed. That's what's crashing the indexer and preventing the downloads.

Yes. There are multiple threads on the downloader being stuck at 0%. There could be multiple reasons, but I would suggest stopping the indexer using Cmd+Shift+click on the indexer icon and click "Cancel All".

Then download A13 from www.logos.com/logos4mac.

There were a several fixes which should make the indexer more stable in A13.

After entering the 'Set Use Internet to Yes' command and 'Set Automatically Download Updates to Yes' everything is back to auto updating. My system (and other's in my company) auto updated to 13a as expected. Thanks for your help with this.

Jerry, I hope you have similar results. God bless guys.

I think my system indexed completely with A8 or A9. Has not had to index since then.

This is the expected behavior Jerry.  Logos will not need to reindex with new updates.  Indexing will only occur when there are resource updates.

Thanks Joe I understand it now. I didn't know that but I completely understand now. Thanks again!
