Updating Logos 6 v6.110.0041

verytime I open my My Logos 6 (windows version)  it constantly downloads updates ( 571.6mb).

I can't work out what the problem is or how to solve it - even after looking at the forum or Wikki.

Any thoughts?

To help us work out what is going on please enable diagnostic logging and post logs in a reply to this thread after starting Logos,  allowing the download to take place and then stopping Logos.

Partially - but its not easy to read the logs pasted into a thread.

There should also be an indexer log file.

Please zip the log files and add them to a reply using the paperclip icon

The Logos.log file shows it is trying to download a number of resources but also has:

This is probably related to the problem but we need someone who can read these better than me to comment further - hopefully such a person will be along shortlySmile

I also noted that the log seemed to stop part way through - did you allow Logos to shutdown before taking the log file?

And was no indexer log created?

First time I've done this - not sure about either surting down or the indexer log. I dont have access to the pc til Friday now!

Try the following:-

1. Exit Logos then delete the following folders:-

  • C:\Users\A Gilbert\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\heuljayz.rwd\UpdateManager
  • C:\Users\A Gilbert\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\heuljayz.rwd\ResourceManager\Downloaded

2. Delete the resource files:-

  •  C:\Users\A Gilbert\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\heuljayz.rwd\ResourceManager\Resources\ESVNT.lbsrvi
  •  C:\Users\A Gilbert\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\heuljayz.rwd\ResourceManager\Resources\ESVOT.lbsrvi

3. Restart Logos.
