In response to suggestions in the forums, I thought we could try using UserVoice as a mechanism to let people suggest and vote on priorities for Logos 4 feature development.

http://logos.uservoice.com is set up and running; it does not share user accounts with Logos. This is just an experiment; if it looks useful we can look into supporting single-sign in with your Logos account.

Thanks!

Gave it a try. Thought I'd start with a non-controversial one.

Very cool feature tracker... I popped a couple on there myself...

Come on Logos users, this is your opportunity to help Bob and the team know where to put the most effort and resources to get those long desired features added to Logos 4.

BTW you can vote 0 - 3 votes on each subject, just look at the drop down box where it says to vote now...

At the moment there are 3 things to vote on.  If we suggest something, would that be added as a 4th item for people to vote on?

@MarkSwain - You can add you own item as well, I just added one more myself....

I suggested focusing on general performance improvement via code optimization...I'm surprised nobody else had suggested it yet.

I like the code optimization, I personally think that would be most beneficial once all other tools and tweaks are complete and we are looking at the final package...

I just went in and switched some votes to create one that I couldn't believe wasn't there... Choice of downloads... Allow us to stop wasting bandwidth and indexing time on resources we may never use or use just enough to not hide, but may prefer to hold off on updating until a larger resource update... The best way is the old L3 pop-up update box with the selection boxes...

As an experiment, with the release of 4.0b, isn't it time for Logos to (a) mark as done any they feel are completed (b) "suspended" any that are so general that you have no way of knowing if you have completed the task and (c) any other appropriate maintenance that will free some user's votes up for reuse. No, it looks very unlike that I will retrieve any votes from this release.[:'(]
