During start up L4 fails to open completely.  The following message pops up:  Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

Logos Bible Software 4 has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Any suggestion on how to fix this?

The error in your log is caused by a corrupt index. The way to fix this is to make a new index, which unfortunately will take some time.

Do this by deleting the contents of this folder: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\<random>\LibraryIndex and then start Logos, it will see that it doesn't have an index and then will begin to build a new one.[Note: the AppData folder is hidden so you will have to enable the viewing of hidden files and folders to navigate to this folder.]

Go to your control panel. Open the Folder Options. Under "View" read through the options, there should be a setting to enable viewing of "Hidden Files and Folders"

Thank you for your help. It appears to be going through the process of indexing.  Good thing is that it started this time.

Thanks again
