Cannot update and cannot synch

Hi:

I cannot update Proclaim on the computer used for Sunday morning worship services.  I cannot synchronize files on that computer.  I can do both of these tasks from the computer I use to develop presentations.

The computer is a PC running Windows 10.

The current version of Proclaim running is 1.34(1.34.0.0235)

When I attempt a manual update I am taken to a screen that would have me reload the entire program.

When I attempt to do a sync I receive and error message stating an error occurred during synchronization, try again.  I get the same results when I do a second sync.

Hi, Ralph, and sorry to hear about your troubles. A couple of things that will help us get started fixing this:

  • We'd like to take a look at your log files, if you could please post them to this thread.
  • A manual update will re-download a new version of Proclaim, then delete the old one. We plan to implement delta updating in the future.
  • Do you have anti-virus software running on the worship service computer? Sometimes this can interfere with updates and sync.
