I have Logos 7 Now and came across a behavior that seemed odd to me. I was using inline search in the ESV and wanted to move the current Bible reference to one of the search results I came across (not in a new tab). I clicked on the verse (not the title) and it switched the verse in the tab reference to the desired one. The problem was, I could not get the tab to actually go to that location. I clicked the x on the search results below to get back to the Bible text and then hit return on the updated reference on the tab but nothing happened. Even hitting the arrow icon next to the reference did nothing. I actually had to cut the text and copy it back into the field before it would work. Seems this should let me change the current tab to the new text just by hitting enter when a new reference is put into the tab box (not sure the technical name =).

Thanks for your question. This behavior is as designed. To navigate to the reference in same panel, simply scroll through the results. For more control, I might recommend to set the Locator Bar to Search Result. When you want to see the full passage of a search result, simply close the Inline Search.

That mostly works, but as the locator bar does not seem to support verses (only book and chapter) the location can be a bit off in longer chapters after closing the inline search. It's just a little confusing why the search arrow icon would ever appear next to the tab verse reference yet not function in that scenario. Anyway, for now just cutting the reference text and pasting it back in results in a more accurate hit so I'll stick with that for now.
