Is it possible to record Audio Books onto cd's from Logos? If not is there a chance you can make it so we can?? I think they would be much more used if we can listen to them as we are driving

I would imagine the publishers may be hesitant to allow FL to do that.

If you have an iPhone or Android device, you can listen on your phone (online or offline). It's relatively easy and cheap to connect most car stereos to a phone if you don't already have that option.

I am aware about hooking cellphones to car stereos but contrary to popular belief not all people have cell phones and not all car stereos have the ability to allow an auxiliary connection which is why I asked the question. Most pastors who are in very small churches cannot afford modern automobiles as a for instance. It was not until 3 months ago that I had a vehicle capable of accepting an auxiliary connection myself.

I realize that but was not sure if it would be possible or not. When I buy cd's I can copy them at will, though I do not.

There are ways around this, but they might be too much trouble. If the car radio does not have an auxiliary connection, but still comes with a tape deck one could use an adapter like this: https://www.amazon.com/Insten-Cassette-Adapter-Compatible-Player/dp/B00QHNCQR4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1472267042&sr=8-1&keywords=car+radio+adapter+cassette+tape

Otherwise, something like this would work: https://www.amazon.com/SolidPin-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Modulator-Hands-free/dp/B01DUARCAC/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1472267366&sr=8-5&keywords=car+radio+adapter++mp3+player+line+in

(There are probably cheaper options available if you don't need the phone hands-free and Bluetooth stuff)

If you don't have an iOS/Android mobile phone to begin with, another (tedious) option would be to record the audio your computer is playing. See here for example for some instructions: http://www.howtogeek.com/217348/how-to-record-the-sound-coming-from-your-pc-even-without-stereo-mix/

If you haven't done this kind of thing before, you might need to Google for help with recording/saving as an MP3/burning that to an audio CD.

That's me. ☺ I still have a flip phone, and my 1991 Mazda's stereo has never heard of aux input. And yet, I look forward to passing my commute with audiobooks and podcasts.

The solution: a cheap Android tablet and a headphone-jack to tape deck (or FM transmitter) adapter. It's simple to use, and you can get the whole thing for under $100. Podcasts download in my sleep, and I can listen to audiobooks downloaded in my Logos app-- plus free audiobooks from lots of other sources.

And one more benefit: by speeding up playback, I can consume 50% more content. That's something my CD player won't do.

I have the reverse problem I have a capable phone but I down own a car period so I just put my earphones in and listen while I'm out walking.

Bernhard I never knew those existed. Wish I would have known that about 10 years ago lol.
