NIV Footnote Missing?
I'm reading a book and it mentions that I see a footnote in the NIV but the version I have in logos doesn't have one. It seems I have the 2011 version. Was the footnote removed from that version? Why doesn't logos sell older versions of Bibles if it is missing. Quote below
Clean animals—those most used by man—numbered either seven or (more likely) seven pairs (Genesis 7:2; see footnote in niv).

Nevermind as to the 1984 version as I found it in logos. Still curious as to three missing footnote though. I'm looking on my mobile device

If Logos was allowed to sell the NIV(84) it would. Biblica, the owner of the copyright for the NIV, has prohibited the sale and production of any but the current (2011) version of the NIV. Versions already printed could be sold until inventory ran out, after that only the new print versions of the NIV could be sold. As regards digital versions (e.g., in Logos), the requirement was immediate (with the exception of explicit contractual agreements, I suppose).
I believe that's a poor decision on the part of Biblica, and have written them to tell them so. If you'd like to add your voice to that of others you can do so via one of the information given here: http://www.biblica.com/about/contact-us/
NOTE: I actually think the NIV 2011 improves upon the NIV 1984 in many (but not all) ways. I'm mostly happy with it, and we are using it in our church as our 'official' Bible. However, I still think it is very helpful to have the 1984 version for comparison (which thankfully I do, in both Logos and in print).

Okay. Okay. They don't sell the 1984 North American version.
[gimme a break; I'm not a detail oriented guy.]

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be aggressive or offensive if I came across that way. Any idea what the difference between the two are?

I just thought of it as a friendly joust. No dented armor on my end. [;)]
I believe that the differences are in spelling and a few places where the phrasing is altered to be more British (less American). But I'm only reporting what I remember others saying. I don't have a copy of both to compare.
Oh, decided to see if Mr. McGoogle could help. Here's one summary of the differences I found that seems to compare the NIV84 with the Anglicized NIV: https://betterbibles.wordpress.com/2007/04/14/british-and-american-bible-version-differences/Help links: WIKI; Logos 6 FAQ. (Phil. 2:14, NIV)

Thanks. From what I can see it seems like it matches the 84 version with a British slant

There are no Interlinears for Anlicised version of the NIV
