Are Collections Supposed to be Working?

Not sure if the Collections Features is supposed to be working - if so - it's not clear how to actually save the Collection. It seems that you can name it and define it but not actually save it and retrieve it. Maybe I just jumped the gun???

Collections are still very much a work in progress. There are the beginnings of the Collections panel, but it's not really usable yet.

Even when it is complete, there is no "save" button. When you close the Collection or open a new one, the current one is auto-saved.. it saves a lot of keystrokes/mouseclicks :-)

Thanks for the update - a couple of suggestions perhaps - the interface in general is confusing. What does Show in parallel resources mean? What does the + Plus these resources and vertSep - Minus these resources (assuming that vertSep is Vertical Separator but what key are we looking for?). Also - when the Collection Name is autogenerated - and if you decide not to create the Collection - that name now appears in your collection list. I'm assuming that there will be an option to Delete an item from the Collection.

Perhaps - (maybe this is already on the drawing board) a Mouse-over help feature would resolve some of these issues - when you would mouse-over "Show in parallel resources" a brief description would pop-up. Anyway - thanks for the heads-up about this a work in progress - just was looking for some clarification and offer some suggestions.

Once the UI is done, I think things will be much more clear. Right now, you can think of that panel as a stick framed house. You can see the general structure, but carpet and painting are not done and there are no appliances or fixtures. It's coming.

I am terrifically excited to see the beginnings of the Collections feature. It's the main reason I still open up the original Logos for Mac.

What I can't seem to figure out is how to look at the Collections I've already created. Are there some pre-set collections? When I add them to a Passage Guide, quite a few books are showing up that I'm certain are not part of a collection I created.
