It can be confusing when the larger discourse bundles don't necessarily contain everything in a smaller discourse bundle.

Shouldn't both these items be included if you have Logos Now or own the Lexham Bible set (8 vols):

So I read everything so really I would pay $362 "just" for the documentation- I already own the other products in both packages- WHAT A SCAM!
Also it is included in the "Logos 7 Extended Feature Set" but once again its $210- really FaithLife is quickly becoming "Don't need you in my life."

This is very confusing. I have Logos Now. I had all 3 resources greyed out showing that I have them but do not own them. I also have prices listed for owning them. Today, the Hebrew Volumes were listed at the price of $0 but yesterday it was not. I "purchased" it today and it downloaded (why did it need to download if I have logos Now? and after downloading it is now listed for $249.99 but greyed out.

Now I am confused. This is what I show in my library for "lexham discourse". I am a Verbum Now subscriber. The top 5 resources have a temporary license. The last 2 have a permanent license. The "Practical Introduction" is the only overlap with the last set that Whyndell lists above. Everything else appears as "new to you" even though some (not all) the titles appear the same.

Yes, that is what I see as well. Not just the Dataset Documentation, but the Introduction and Glossary for the Greek. Looking at the product page it lists 4 resources in the top half, 3 of which seem to already be in your (and mine) library.

The reasons might differ for each of you, depending on what you own or rent.
If you email or call Customer Service, they can compare your licenses with those bundle resources, and answer any questions about the bundles.

What Discourse bundles have you actually purchased that appear in your Order History? If you own a bundle (or product), the product page will indicate that with an absence of "Buy" options. A Feature Set or Base Package will state "Owned" against individual items. A Logos Now subscription doesn't give you ownership of product that is new to you --> it is listed in Library when you use the filter License:temporary.

The price is not for the "documentation"; which not only includes the "Dataset Documentation", but also the "Introduction" and the "Glossary". Nobody has the Hebrew Dataset Documentation.
Your bundle prices are slightly lower than mine; and all my Discourse products come via Logos Now (so I don't own any Discourse products). What does the + mean? Can you show the product page with those prices?

That just confuses matters as the Extended Feature Set includes more features than the Discourse products. The price, however, does indicate that you get a better deal than purchasing the two Discourse bundles separately.

You can own the Hebrew Dataset Documentation. Here's one of the ways:
The Extended Feature Set includes the discourse Introduction, Glossary, and Dataset resources, but does not include the discourse Dataset Documentation. (As to why FL left out the discourse Dataset Documentation from the EFS, perhaps it was an oversight.)
Once anyone buys the EFS, those 4-pack Greek and Hebrew discourse bundles will be free (since the only items they include that is being "sold" is a permanent license for the missing Dataset Documentation).
If you then "buy" those free bundles, you do end up with permanent licenses for both the Hebrew and Greek Dataset Documentation.
I'm absolutely certain that FL does not charge for the documentation, as I clearly remember that the Dataset Documentation was the only item in the bundle I didn't have a permanent license for until I "bought" those free bundles. Once I did, nothing else but the documentation was added to my library.
If you see a price for either bundle yet have permanent licenses for the discourse Introduction and Glossary, you likely don't own the discourse Dataset which won't show up in your library. (For some strange reason, FL does sell other bundles that include the discourse Glossary and Introduction, but don't include the Dataset.)

Anyone with a Logos Now subscription should have the Hebrew Dataset Documentation, to say the least.
I'm sorry for the inconsistencies within the subscription, feature sets, and discourse bundles, and I'm sorry that it hasn't been corrected yet.
For what it's worth, the documentation itself is quite short. It shows how to use Discourse Features Visual Filter, and it shows the search syntax. (It doesn't list what the search markers are. That additional information can be found in both the Introduction and the Glossary, which you have.)
I hope that information helps in the meantime, until FL resolves the missing documentation issue!

Well my frustration with FL has been growing- they seem to release items - without verification as to whether it is 100% or not.
The documentation really is not all that important- it does not affect the use of the materials- here its the principle involved.
This is not the first time being addressed and yet here we are, talking again- hoping, longing for some attention, only to find ourselves by ourselves.

Correct. If you look at the feature set comparison, you'll see that many Discourse resources are only found in the Extended Feature Set.
One of the reasons why I bought the EFS was because it was a very inexpensive way to get a permanent license to the Discourse resources.

The issues surrounding this are a real snake pit. I am a Now member. I own the Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible Bundle(6 vols), the Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament Bundle(6 vol) and finally, the Discourse Grammar of the Greek New Testament.
- First question. What possible functionality does one gain upon addition of the Lexham Discourse Bible(8 vols)?
- Second question. The datasets I have appear to be adequate enough to allow me to search the datasets of both the Hebrew Bible and the NT. Am I wrong?
- Final question. The dataset documentation for the Discourse Greek New Testament appears to be trivial why would anyone want to buy the Hebrew Dataset Documentation? It should be supplied free of charge as is the Greek for those who have purchased the bundles or are Now members.
