A quick thought on this issue that you might have already considered - not all dictionaries are alike, the contain different headwords and so won't alwlays link on a topic you might expect them to link.
Also if the dictionary was purchased from Vyrso it will not link as books on this site are made on the cheap and are not indexed.
But if you can give more specific details about the dictionaries you are trying to link, how you are trying to link them and the topic you are expecting them to link upon, an answer to your specific situation might be found.
