Whats New?

General

• A progress indicator now appears when the application is copying from the disk image to your applications folder when doing a first time install or installing from a disk image.

Highlighting / Visual Markup

• Highlighting is visible for resources which are marked up in Windows. We haven't implemented the Highlighting panel as it was necessary to be able to display highlighting properly before attempting to apply highlighting.
• Notes are visible for resources which are marked up in Windows. Note creation/editing support on Mac is not implemented yet and is slated for a future alpha.
• Bible Text Only, Page Numbers, Reading Plan and Links to open panels visual filters are implemented as well.
• Known Issues
  • The 'x' link in Reading Plan visual mark up does not work.
  • The visual filters button will not show an icon if no visual filters are selected. This will be fixed in A19. Clicking the button and selecting one or more visual filters will cause the icon to display.

Passage Analysis

•  Compare Pericopes tool is implemented.
• Known Issues
  • Clicking on a pericope name in Compare Pericopes tool always opens the preferred bible. 
  • Cluster graph shows only blue dots. (It's not fully baked yet).
  • Morph River, Word Tree, and Version River are not implemented yet.

Reading Lists

• Reading list panel is now implemented.

Tools & Guides menu

• All the items in the Tools and Guides menus can be dragged off the menu into new tabs (similar to Windows).

Settings Panel

• Hidden resources fully implemented.

File Menu

• Right clicking on a document brings up a context menu which allows you to open the document in a new tab or a new window or delete it.

Favorites

• Drag and drop to favorites has been improved.
• Open All should work.
• Misc aesthetic improvements
• Known Issues
  • Bookmarks section within Favorites does not work. It gets bigger with each expand/collapse.

Collections

• Open collections feature: open, include in collection, exclude from collection, delete, undo
• Fixed some redraw problems 
• Added preview hover image
• Fixed problem where the columns in the table would disappear after rearranging them
• Fixed crash when closing panel
• Fixed problem where the plus and minus lists wouldn't update properly
• Fixed filtering of resources
• Fixed problem with rating not refreshing properly

Copy Bible Verses

• Style selection popup menu.
• Styles can be edited.
• New Styles can be created.
• Added toolbar with text navigator.
• Added resource selector.
• Copying works.

Biblical Places

• Integrated much more Windows code and logic
• Detail place maps show on base map
• Animate from one Detail map to another
• Zoom/Pan for maps use Windows logic
• Known Issues
  • Minimap not integrated from Windows code yet
  • Dynamic Maps is not integrated yet.
  • Dynamic Scale is not integrated yet.
  • Distance measurement is not integrated yet.
  • Biblical places uses *lots* of memory currently. Closing the Biblical places window should free the memory.

Search

•  Fixed bugs in the TextAutoCompleter
•  Added MorphAutoCompleter (MorphBuilder not implemented yet)

Command Bar

•  Command Bar text now set appropriately after selecting an item from the drop down

Reading Plan

•  All options are available for creating a reading plan.
•  Known Issues
  • Calendar view is not implemented

Bible Word Study

• Lemma section now enabled

Exegetical Guide (Word By Word)

• Clicking on the lemma now links to the Bible Word Study
• Dictionary excerpts are now properly trimmed

Miscellaneous Known issues

• Copy and paste from resources using Cmd-C/Selection Copy from the context menu is still broken.
• Passage Guides are still slow due to Biblical People slowness. 
• Biblical People still leaks memory
• Opening a Timeline will cause the app to crash
