EDIT: This post was updated on July 20, 2019

Some users have asked how to claim their free FL Connect Books. Hopefully this will help:

  1. https://connect.faithlife.com/get-started
  2. Click on the "ebooks" tab.
  3. Under "Free eBooks," Click the "copy" button for the coupon code.
  4. Click HERE to go to the list of unowned books to choose from.
  5. Add a chosen book to your cart.
  6. Enter the code by pasting it in.
  7. The price should move to "$0.00"

Currently, you may select up to three of these titles for free. The former benefit of "one free original" transformed into two benefits:

  1. A temporary license of about 100 FL "original" titles.
  2. A discount on the purchase of 1 FL Original each month. That coupon code is on the same page as the one for the free classics.

I think they need to redesign the page and bring the "claim your benefits" section higher; it's easy to miss.

Finding your free classic is a major pain. I wish it redirected to the logos site

I was migrated only to the "Starter" level so it's zilch for me.

Dreaming of Faithlife Ebook filter to show what do not own. Showing many titles as already owned is annoying (plus tends to keep money in my pocket).

Now Members page => https://www.logos.com/now-members includes Shop Now link for searching Classic Books, which can be followed by searching Faithlife Ebooks.

Me too. But, at least I got the $200 coupon. How they decided who would get what is undisclosed. I wish I too migrated to Essential. I have a large library and adopted early in my mind I deserve the higher benefit. Maybe someone can justify the distinctions.

Before I write a new post, I'll see if my question can get answered here.

I was migrated to the connect starter. Since the Logos Now benefits are to remain active until November (I think I read it right), how can I claim my free Now book each remaining month? Can we expect the code to claim the Now free book or has that part of the subscription been completely changed? The Now members page is still active.

    Thanks

Now benefits will remain active and unchanged until all contracts are satisfied and expired. You will continue to do as you have before inorder to claim your benefits.

The assumption is that it will function as always, but we will find out more tomorrow! There is a good chance things won’t be updated until the afternoon.

I received an email affirming no changes would be made to the Now contract and things will continue as before until the contract expires.

I thought everybody was migrated to starter level ... if that is not the case then what were the criteria used ?

I'm not sure, really. Some people got the "Essentials" level. Some people got $100 coupons, some $200. I got $200 but was still migrated to Starter, so I'm not sure those two are related.

My Connect Starter subscription would have to be renewed in July; my Now subscription however continues until November. I don't know how a briefer trial period of a sub. with fewer features is supposed to entice me to continue...

The 'get 1 original' does not appear for the 'starter' level ... which is what I have been transitioned to. However, the next level up gives a code that, whilst out of date, worked for me with a little editing. I am a LN subscriber and as such the code FREECLASSICMAR worked for me. The classic books that are available this month seems to be a subset (or a different set) to previous months ... so the ones I had 'picked out' were no longer available :-(

The 'Originals' code, even when edited, did not work (as I expected).

For the Logos Now Free Book, this is what worked for me.

Choose your book from the members page (not sure if you can use the new connect page).

Use the code for the connect classic free book (you have to get the code from Essentials.

It should change the price to $0.

    That's it.

your suggested "claim your benefits" tab/link is not present on current faithlife site.  Also the link that is provided to choose your "free" monthly ebooks only brings up 10 books (out of supposedly several thousand).  Also, the "free" books offered do not indicate whether or not I already own them until AFTER I click on the book to add it to cart.  All a real PAIN.  It was MUCH simpler a year ago when a reminder email was sent (I am no longer receiving it) with a link that went directly to ALL the books offered, AND the ones I already owned were so indicated.

For clarification: I don't work for FL and the instructions I gave were correct at the time (more than a year before your post).

I can feel your pain. I updated the instructions above. Try them now.
