I updated to Logos 4.0c (4.03.3.9511) yesterday. Since then:

  1. Indexer has crashed several times and has not finshed yet.
  2. Visual filters are haywire, the markings are there, on the wrong words or parts of words. No rhyme or reason.

Any one else haveing these or other problems?

John

Not here, but that sounds like an indexing problem. A malformed index would mess up the placement of the visual filters as well.

Try rebooting your system and see if you can get the indexer to finish. If not, you may need to delete the index and start over (probably just the BibleIndex, from the way this sounds). You can do that by navigating to the correct folder via Windows Explorer, or typing rebuild bible index in the Logos 4 command bar.

In addition to Richard's suggestions you should enable logging so that the indexer logs can help pinpoint the exact nature of the problem. Once you have logs capturing a crash, upload them to the forum for review.

After rebooting & turning on logging, the indexer finally finished without crashing. That solved the problem with the visual filters. They now work fine.

Richard, Kevin; Thanks for your prompt assistance!
