I requested this book back in 2013. Nothing has been done about it. It's come out in a new 10th Anniversary edition since then. It has a coveted 5-star rating on Amazon. Scot McKnight is a bestselling author and there are a whole slew of his books in Logos, so it's really surprising that this one, his bestselling book, which was the winner of a Christianity Today Book Award, is not among them.

I've added a suggestion to UserVoice. Please stuff the ballot box on it.

It is surprising that it has not yet made it into Logos.

I've added 3 votes.

I think this may be due to the publisher, the rather smallish "Paraclete Press" which seems to have a strong "Verbum bent" to it. Faithlife would probably not go for a publisher contract just for one book - or they even tried and couldn't reach an agreement. Maybe the new activities around Verbum might help.

Ah yes, you're probably right. Paraclete is certainly smallish compared to some of the evangelical publishers Logos/Faithlife has done business with for years (Zondervan, IVP, Eerdmans, et al.), but I find more and more of the authors I like publishing through Paraclete (Walter Wangerin, Luci Shaw, Scott Cairns, Emilie Griffin, Tania Runyan, J. Brent Bill, Lauren Winner, Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove). And it's not all Verbum/Catholic either. I don't think any of those authors is Catholic. Anyway, I would love to see Faithlife bring them on as a publisher they carry.

Their website says: "Although Benedictine spirituality is at the heart of all we do, we are an ecumenical publisher and as such we present works that unite us and enrich our understanding as Christians, whether Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox or Evangelical."
