The L8 base packages are much stronger than they were in L7. I notice the Tyndale Commentary ($270) coming in at Standard Silver, and the New American Commentary ($360 on sale) and Pillar commentaries  ($530) coming in at Standard Gold.

Standard Silver has both the Anchor-Yale Bible Dictionary set ($270) and the Baker Bible Encyclopedia ($140). Wow!

Standard Silver would make a great lay person's basic library and Standard Gold would be an excellent starting place for a pastor's library. At 25% off ($750 and $1,162) they are an amazing deal. (Just the resources mentioned above would total $680 in Silver and $1,570 in Gold.)

Both of these libraries are much stronger than those in L7, perhaps even what was in the later L6 packages.

Well done Faithlife, and thank you!

Agreed! I spent more than I thought I would but think I got an amazing deal.

Yes. There was some problem with this earlier but it seems to have been fixed.
