I know that the web app is not a substitute for the desktop version but, ...

In the windows version, the info tool (set for follow (on click)) is very useful.

It would be nice if the web app version of the info tool had more functionality that is similar to the usefulness of the desktop version.

Unless I am missing something, the Web version currently only gives Word Info so there is no need for an automatic follow. If you click a word, it displays the information in the tool.

I would like, as you said, to see more parity between the versions in the future.

Hey Celeste, we know you are! Smile

For reference, is there an easy place to see when the web app is updated and what the release notes on the updates are?

I don't know off the top of my head, but I'll find out.

We push code to the web app every day. We're working on a system that makes regular updates (a la release notes) more feasible. Stay tuned.

Hi David,

I don't really use the "follow" setting, but I do have the info window set for "click". Subsequently, I don't care if the web version has the follow feature or not. However, as you also noted, the web version "only gives Word info". I use the information contained many more sections of the desktop version of Logos info tool. In fact, I noticed that I rarely have to open up guides because the desktop info tool is packed with so much information.
