Thank you to the folks at Logos…since becoming a user, my studies have been far more in-depth.  Yea!

Now to the problem,

I use notes, a lot...and for ease of reading I use colors.  I write my notes in word and paste them into my note.  Since the update to L4.0d I have had a problem...whereas the first line keeps the color, and the rest of the text turns to default black.

Is there a fix for this?

Thank you,

Don

Hi Don,

Since you mentioned that you updated to 4.0d, I moved this thread to the PC Beta forum. (If that was a typo, and you meant 4.0c, let me know and I'll move it back.)

I'll take a look at this problem in both versions.

Thanks,
Melissa

Thank you for moving it.  It IS 4.0d.

As I continue to make notes I have found that sometimes all the pasted text is turned black.

Text color isn't supported in the rich text editor in Logos 4 at this time. Although it will paste into a note from another place, such as Word, you can't change color of existing note text.  Still, I will look into this particular issue.

Yes I understand...I am copying from Word into notes.

I can't reproduce the problem in 4.0d Beta 1.  Are you pasting into an existing note or into a new note?

I've tried about every different combination (including what you asked), as well as rebooting a couple of times.

Has anything else changed on your computer, such as a video driver update?  Can you send a screenshot of a problem note, and a log file that records the paste function in the note?

I'm curious if anyone else is seeing this same problem.

Thanks,
Melissa

"Log file"...way above my head.  Screen shot would just show the first line of text in color and all the others in black (don't know how to do that either).

I also notice that my wall paper trys to load...but then turns black.

I'm about to do a session with Dell...I'll let you know what we find.

Melissa,

Don't know if it is related with this issue, but my wallpaper won't show either.  When I go to change it, the new wallpaper will show for a second then it goes to black.

I don't know what the deal is, but this laptop is used for  work...I cant risk trying a beta....I went back to 4.0c.

Thanks for you help.

~Don

BTW, Dell customer support didn't help me at all, and I believe the uninstall cured my wallpaper problem.
