This is a great forum. I appreciate every reply I've received. Thanks for going to the trouble.

I am used to using BibleWorks for language work, though I'm not the most proficient of users. But I don't know how to do the simplest things in Logos. I can't type Greek or Hebrew using it, and I don't know how to look up things like how many times a Greek word appears, for example.

I wanted to look up how many times the last word in Luke 19:10 appears in the NT. [apololos]

How do I do this, please?

David, the more you use Logos the more you will love it.

Right click on the word you want and then on the word selected and then choose search this resource

Then it will open up a search window to show the results

The wiki mentions a few ways that you can enter text in Greek or Hebrew.

One of the ways is using transliteration, by preceding a Greek or Hebrew word with g: or h:. For example, g:apololos

Another is by adding Greek and Hebrew virtual keyboards to your Operating System (Windows or macOS), and toggling between languages to type text in that specific language.

I have not been successful in typing Greek on my computer. I do it easily on my iPad using Keyman software.

I would love to be able to do it easily on my computer, too.

Since you are already familiar with Keyman software, it would probably make sense to use the same Keyman Greek keyboard on your computer.

If you haven't already installed Keyman on your computer, first visit the Keyman Downloads page, to download the correct product for your Windows or macOS computer.

Then you can download your preferred Greek and Hebrew keyboards to use with Keyman.

If you run into problems, please provide specific details as to what is not working properly for you.

I don't use Keyman myself, but will try to help (or someone more knowledgeable might step in)!

Right click on ἀπολωλός has context menu where can select lemma for a Bible Word Study (BWS)

BWS has a ring of translations for lemma. Clicking middle of ring shows verses for all ring segments, which is 92 for lemma ἀπόλλυμι (with 30 usages being translated as perish in the AV 1873 New Testament).
