Looking for shepherd references. I knew there was references to The Lord Jesus as Good/Great/Chief Shepherd, but only saw the first two. Chief Shepherd is one word. The Greek core translates as shepherd plus the prefix. The prefix  causes it to be considered a totally different word.  Is there a search that would catch a core, and core plus prefix/suffix as well?

Thanx,

Bob Diebel

You could try searching the root - right-click the word, select root on the right and then search the resource.

Or you could see where the word "shepherd" coincides with the person Jesus

Suggest Greek root search: e.g.

<Root = lbs/el/ποιμην> INTERSECTS <Person Jesus>

Screen shot shows search using a Faithlife account with $ 0.00 order total, which includes Logos 7 Fundamentals (Logos 8 upgrade gift)
