In Proclaim, is there an editing code that allows me to create a new line on a slide without breaking to the next slide? I tried double dashes (--) but I either get a long dash or a new page. How do I force a line break on the same slide?
Thanks!

Hi Scott
This is a long running problem. I don't think there is a way to do this easily in song slides. In content slides it is necessary to reduce the font size to a point were all the text will fit on a slide. You can try using Shift+Enter but I don't think it makes a significant difference.

Perhaps I don't understand the problem, but I don't have any trouble causing a line break or inserting a blank line in either song or content slides. A line break is simply placing the cursor where you want the break and hitting enter. A blank line is placing the cursor at the end of the line and hitting shift-enter.
I do not use Proclaim but in "some" editors a soft line return (Shift-Enter) will add a new line instead of creating a new slide... just an idea and easy to test...
