What is the value of this new old smaller commentary by Grosheide who died in 1972?
We already have several old editions of NICOT/NICNT commentaries in Logos. Hughes on 2 Corinthians and Hebrews. Tenney on John. Ridderbos on Galatians. Murray on Romans. Morris on Thessalonians, and others.
Some of those are better than others. Carson says Grosheide "is below par and can be safely skipped".
I am glad that it is being offered as I was one of those who requested that it be made available.
