When I select "God" in the context menu I get a very, very, very long list of look-up options.

Unfortunately, the title abbreviation column is narrow, non-expandable, and does not show full abbreviation or resource title on mouse over. Somehow, I don't remember that PDCH ... stands for PDCH:O300TCCD which is really Feldmeth, Nathan P. Pocket Dictionary of Church History: Over 300 Terms Clearly and Concisely Defined. The IVP Pocket Reference Series. Downers Grove, IL: IVP Academic, 2008.

I think it reasonable to expect me to know my top prioritized resources. However, I estimate there are 500 entries in my lookup list - I won't guess how many resources. It does, however, exceed my memory or ability to make an educated guess. I need a larger hint as to what the reference is - my preference being full title on mouse over.

A ToolTip would do the trick, and should be easy to implement.

I've created a case so that the team can consider your request.

YES! And perhaps the title cover image as well. I know a lot of resources by the cover image before I know them by the full name, so both would help. Excellent idea MJ. Thank you!

In full agreement, however Logos seems to me to have a history of placing mouseover illustrations in inconvenient places or having them appear at inconvenient times. They either obscure things you want to see or appear like a flashing display of random lights as you move the cursor over the screen.

I wonder if the standard pop-up window is the appropriate solution to this problem in a complex environment like the Logos workspace?

Perhaps this information would be better presented in something like the 'Information Tool' or even repurposing this little box?

We would soon learn where to shift our gaze to get the information we need without disrupting the layout we are working on.
