Unable to do advanced prioritization

I'm running 8.9.0014, on Mojave.

I want to set up my JPS Torah Commentary to use the 1985 JPS Tanakh as the reference for popups. However, in the library, the advanced prioritization window, I am unable to select anything and make it stick for the "from this resource" line.

It's also possible I just misunderstand how advanced prioritization works.

    1. You have to apply advanced prioritization to the bible (1985 JPS Tanakh)
    2. If already prioritized, you must apply advanced prioritization to that entry
    3. Then it must be moved above your #1 Bible in the Prioritization list
    4. You can then prioritize the bible normally, placing it below any bibles that have advanced prioritization.

The problem is that you have to do this for each JPS Commentary (you can't do advanced prioritization for the series).

    But I discovered another problem:

    • the popup in the commentary may show the correct text from JPS Tanakh, but
    • clicking will not take you to the JPS Tanakh

Ex 20:14 covet in the commentary will popup the  text of v13 in JPS Tanakh (instead of v14), whilst clicking takes me to v14 in ESV (instead of v17). Remove the advanced prioritization, and I get v14 in the ESV!

I think this arises because the bible uses Bible (JPS) = BibleBHS2, whilst the commentary uses Bible (BHS) = BibleBHS. Exodus 20 has 23 verses in the commentary which matches the 23 verses in the bible. If BibleBHS was correct, the commentary would have 26 verses!

I think the JPS commentary is fundamentally aligned to the JPS Tanakh but is using the wrong datatype. This should be resolved by Faithlife.
