1. Use the Bible Browser to identify 1 Chr 29:10 as a passage that is "Speaking to God"

2. Go to NRSV 1 Chr 29:10, select "Blessed are you" and right click to open context menu

3. Expand labels - find no label for "speaking to God" which would be expected.

Where do I find an example of Speaking to God so I can run a search? Oh, but I missed the obvious ... if I open the interactive and read the "about" I will discover that Speech has the same parameters as are described in the interactive. Then I can inductively conclude that "Speech"="Speaking to God" ... so obvious with Speech Acts, Reported speech et. al. covering some of the same ground.

So the obvious problem is that the documentation given in the interactive does not document the Search function.

MJ,

"The Speech Acts Dataset is designed to annotate sentences in an attempt to capture the volition or intent of the speaker/writer."

Jimmy Parks, Speech Acts Dataset Documentation (Bellingham, WA: Faithlife, 2016).

So find Speech Directed towards God you need to use the Addressee Label: which in this case is {Addressee <Person God>}, I hope this helps.
