I had a Liturgy Guide section to one passage and saw something that made me want to check a previous Liturgy Guide on a different passage.
1. I opened History
2. I found and selected the previous Liturgy Guide
3. To my surprise, it changed the reference in the current Liturgy Guide rather than opening a new pane for the Historical one. Please tell me this is a BUG.

I'm sorry to say this is working as expected. If you do want to open in a separate panel you can drag and drop it.
