For years, there have been requests to expose the library attributes to allow the user to know what resources are utilized for what functions. Often this request is made because we want more results in a section and need to know what to purchase or because we want to know if an item in our library is included or it we need to search it manually. I would propose a less arcane solution than exposing library attributes.
To each guide section bar (where title and settings currently are) add a new function that works as follows:
- provides a list of all the resources in your library that potentially contributed to the results
- toggles to list of all the resources to which you do not have access that potentially contributed to the results
- links to bookstore description page for that resource
Clean, easily understood, mutually beneficial solution although it has limited usefulness for building collections.
Immediate impetus for suggestion: What is Considered a "Textual Commentary" in the Textual Variants Guide?
