So we have a discussion that asks these questions:

  • Select a topic where your church (or you) teach/practice a practical theology which follows Paul rather than Jesus.
    • Compare and contrast how Jesus and Paul address the topic.
    • Include their comments on behavior, lifestyle, way of thinking, etc.
    • Clearly state why your church (or you) prefer the practical implementation of Pauline logic and rules rather than sacrificial lifestyle of Jesus.
    • Explore why – both the reasons and the errors in teaching and application.

Please point me to the right direction (or share your thoughts). Thank you!

Sorry, but this will probably go nowhere at all. See 1 Corinthians 11:1. And you will likely want to take to another forum as it doesn't really belong on this forum.

Observing mab's guidance, I looked at the questions, and it seems to me, a false premise, observable in the mix of resources that Logos offers. Most resources discuss emphasis, not either/or. Even the book I just finished (Mythmaker) treated Jesus/Paul as a shifting amalgam. Good luck ... the questions seem naive.
