I upgraded my iPad and was unpleasantly surprised to learn that my Logos and Kindle libraries didn’t carry over when I restored the backup to my new iPad. Does anybody know if I was fundamentally wrong about the nature of a backup (I was expecting something like a cloned drive) or is this a case of forgetting to do something crucial?

My understanding - but it’s a long time since I tested this - is that the Logos app does not restore downloaded resources through an iOS backup.

Hopefully others can confirm / deny

Edit: Actually this is stated in the article at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038946692-Have-questions-about-using-your-Mobile-Library-
