Read Aloud feature does not work with all resources

Some resources work with the Read Aloud feature, others don't.

Can anyone help me to understand why this is the case?

Can anyone explain the technical aspects of what is required for this feature to work, e.g. online or offline, internet connection requirements, software or hardware limitations/requirements, etc.? Is this part of the software and, if so, is it a bug. It is frustrating not to understand why it works sometimes with some resources, but not ever with other resources.

Hi Donald:

Please help other forum users help you by providing a few names of resources that don't read aloud, a few names of those that do, your computer's operating system version, and the dot version of Logos 8 you're using (e. g. 8.17). Please also note if the Read Aloud command appears in the resource's menu, but doesn't function when invoked.

In earlier days there were a number of publishers that didn't provide permission for read aloud, but my experience is that those issues aren't quite so prevalent in recent years.
