Any way to export search results with highlighting?

I am trying to get the results of a simple search over to someone in my church, and I am unable to do so. Maybe I am just missing something. Here is what I am trying to do:
- Run a search on a Hebrew word using the ESV (and built in reverse interlinear).
- The results I get from Logos are in the ESV with English word highlighted (fabulous! see snapshot)
- I want to get that verse list along with the highlighting of the English word over to the congregant
- I don't want to confuse them with Strong's, Hebrew or the like. I just want to get a verse list WITH the highlighting of the applicable English word in the ESV over to her.

Fred, you can save your Bible Search as a Passage List. Then you can copy your Passage list to any document of your word processor you use. It will not come however with your highlighted words. It is not possible to do in Logos 4, at least as far as I know.

You can email a screen shot over to her.

Since you've got 93 results, you'll have to do it as several screenshots, one per page as you page through the results. For some info on how to get a screenshot, see http://wiki.logos.com/Screenshot

Fred, I know it is a lot of "extra" work, but you could export as Bohuslav has suggested and then highlight in your word processor. I've tried it in both MS Word and WordPerfect. It does mean a little more effort, but when helping someone understand the Scriptures, what's a "little extra work?"

You can Word's find and replace feature to apply a highlighting style. I would recommend copying a verse list over and then using find and replace to add the highlighting. You would have to do it for a number of different English words depending on your initial search but it should work a little better than manual highlighting.

If analysis view was working correctly (i.e., the search result wasn't erroneously showing in the context columns), then you could:
- Export as RTF:
- open it in Word
- delete all the extraneous columns (i.e. all the columns other than the reference, previous context, result, and next context)
- select the result column,
- highlight it or change the text color
- convert table to text using tabs as the separator
- then use "Find and Replace" to replace all "paragraph-tab" sequences with spaces, as shown here:
And here's the result (note the repeated words because of the analysis bug):
Word's grammar checker can be used to remove the repeated words.

Thanks all, for the several workarounds. Is there any hope that Logos is working on allowing this to be done without all the rigmarole? This would seem like a pretty basic function.

On the UserVoice forum, they say they've got "Printing Bible Text w/ Highlighting" PLANNED, so potentially this might also extend to printing search results with highlighting. Another feature I suggested, Copy from Anywhere (Guides, Search Results, Resource Info panel), has received a lot of votes -- but it could use more; hint, hint -- so if they do this then surely in combination with the printing of highlighting, they'd have solved whatever is necessary to be able to let you copy search results with highlighting.
