Alpha 26 Release Notes

Notes

IF YOU PLAN TO USE THE NOTES FEATURE, READ THIS FIRST!

Note text in Notes Documents can now be edited. Clippings, clipping notes, guide section notes and various other notes text editors throughout the rest of the app cannot yet be edited.

WARNING: Despite the designation of "Alpha", a large number of people are now using Logos 4 Mac as if it were a finished product. We're certainly glad that even our pre-release software is so useful to so many. However, it bears repeating that this is Alpha software and there are still bugs. Some of these bugs potentially affect Notes and notes editing. We want people to edit Notes in Logos 4 Mac with a mind toward testing it, but I wouldn't recommend writing your thesis in Logos 4 Mac just yet. This warning goes double for people who have amassed a large number of notes using Logos 4 Windows (or prior versions). If you've got some notes files that you wouldn't mind testing, great, have at it. But if you've got notes with hundreds of critical links and a lot of careful formatting, it might be best to leave those alone on the Mac for now while we work out any kinks.
