I am missing HANDOUTS for some reason?? any ideas?
They are going to be rebuilt soon so rather than put work into the old architecture, they are leaving them out for now.
any word on when they will make they're comeback?
I haven't heard any time-tables.
We don't have an exact timetable, but it will be post-4.0.
Will you be issuing a handout to let us all know?
tootle pip

Well, after almost a year since your post - and a good 9 months since the release of version 4, I'm still hoping to see one of those updates come in that actually gives us the Handouts feature. I did notice that it's in the Help section but I honestly don't know if that was always there or if it's new. Either way, it gives me hope that we may finally catch up to the Windows feature-set in the near future.I do wish we would at least hear something about it though. [:)]
Observation: Handouts not yet revamped. In current development cycle, Personal Book Builder (PBB) is being done on Mac and PC. Speculating Handouts revamp would be developed in similar manner.
As a Logos user, have no idea when Handouts revamp will become top priority for development; PBB needs to be completed first. Also wonder about potential PBB use for handouts (especially collection of various Bible studies) since PBB can be printed.
Wiki Mac and PC User Interface Differences => Feature Parity section has a list of know feature parity discrepancies (started with handouts and gathered more from forum discussions). Looking forward to stable 4.3 release (and reducing Feature Parity list).
Keep Smiling [:)]
Hilarious! We do need the handout feature to rise in priority. It would make life a lot simpler.
Welcome [:D]
To increase priority for Handouts, can vote for Logos User Voice suggestion => Improve handouts (currently 48th ranked with 43 votes) and Handout Application (currently 73rd ranked with 22 votes); noticed these handout suggestions have more votes than Improve Logos 4 Mac Feature Parity with PC (now 83rd ranked with 18 votes). Another handout suggestion => Handout Application Formattng (111th ranked with 10 votes).
