Bug: Passage analysis layout will not open in floating window

I created a passage analysis layout that includes the passage analysis tool and an english bible (NKJV)

I placed a shortcut for this layout on the tool bar

Right click the layout icon and select "open in floating window"

Nothing happens

EDIT: If I click the icon it replaces the existing layout and opens fine.

If I just drag the Passage Analysis tool (from the tools menu) to the tool bar it will open in a floating window by right clicking.

I appears that it is only a problem when saving this tool as part of a layout that the layout will not open in a floating window.

A layout defines the entire setup of the Logos windows (main window plus any floating windows), I wouldn't expect it to be able to applied to just a floating window.

I can report this, although, it may be difficult to open a layout in a new tab or floating window because layouts can consist of several separate panels and already floating windows. It may be that if the shortcut is to a layout, those options should be removed from the context menu.

If you want the Passage Analysis and NKJV panels to open in one floating window, have them in the same floating window when you save the layout. Keep in mind that floating windows, unless they're open on a second monitor, will be minimized on the taskbar when the layout is loaded.

Thanks Todd. I understand what you're saying. I now see this is the same behavior with all other saved layouts as well. I would suggest that we remove or gray out the option to open layout shortcuts "in floating window" or make it possible to open multiple layouts in floating windows.

This is the report I submitted -- to remove the 'Open in a new tab' and 'Open in a floating window' options for Layout shortcuts, if possible.
