I did a search that came back with many hits but I can't scroll down to see the results, because there are no scroll bars...
Ditto here.
Jim
Gentlemen, I am unable to reproduce in a saved layout. But in a new one I can produce the problem. EDIT I spoke too soon. The scrolls bars are there. Try a search of the entire library and see what happens.
Strange, I don't have that problem with B7. I'm running XP with all latest updates. Have you guys got those recent updates from MS?
i am running Beta7 with the latest updates on Win 7 64 Bit.
Currently in Beta 7 I have the same problem. I'm installing the Win 7 64bit updates from today right now. I'll report back if it makes a difference.
hmm...
There's also another 43.4 MB download coming for Logos as well.
I have the same problem - no scroll bars. They do appear if I search the entire library.
Thanks,
John
Same problem here. Running Vista 64 bit.
Just finished installing the win7/64bit updates and rebooting.
Beta 7 now shows the scroll bars. [:)]
Make sure your Win7 updates are in place.
(Download was a resource I unlocked earlier)
Installed updates for Vista 64-bit and still no scroll bars. [:(]
Same problem. Old layout - scroll bar. New layout - scroll bar appears briefly at the beginning of the search then disappears.
Edit: Seems the scroll bar is actually there. I ran a search with too few results in the new layout (which had a much bigger search pane so the results did not fill the pane.) [:$]
I'll test some more but I don't seem to have the problem reported.
If I start a fresh layout using the Go bar on the Home Page, then do a search in the new layout so generated, I get the scroll bar.
Scroll bars are not present in Basic Search but are present in Bible Search & Morph Search as far as I can tell from my minimal testing.
Desktop Win 7 with recent MS updates.
For me when doing a Basic Search, scroll bars appear if I am searching the "Entire Library" but not if I am searching a collection.
I'm unable to reproduce the problem as described, but we'll look into it.
The same is true for me
I get the same; collections = no scroll bars, entire library = scroll bars.
I'm using 'Win 7 up to date....

XP under Parallels on a Mac Pro. Search results have scroll bars for collections.
Same here getting the scroll bar with a search for the enitre library and none when limiting the search...
When I do a search of my entire library and confine it to 'Surface Text', I do not get a scroll bar. The scroll bar comes back when I search my entire library with 'All Text'. *Note: This is a different problem than the problem others were reporting when doing a search from a collection.

I can reproduce this.

I don't think so. I think it's any search that only returns a "Library Results" section that loses the scroll bar. Searches that return "Topic" and "My Content" results always have the scroll bar.
Any kind of limited search (whether by Collection or by Search Field) skips the Topic and My Content sections and also loses the scroll bar.

Good point, Todd. Me thinks you are correct. [:)]
This will be fixed in the next beta.
Thanks Melissa
Confirmed it seems fixed in B8
