Beta 9 - Crash on opening

Chances are you've got a custom guide which includes "collections". you'll have to open to a blank layout, load your custom guide, edit it (panel menu) and remove the collections section until this bug is fixed.

@Thomas - that was the plan however when I open to the blank layout and try to open the cutom passage guide it crashes the same way. Just have to wait for the fix.

Frank, just to be certain that you're using the same procedure that worked for me....

Click GUIDES and location "my passage guide" (or whatever).
It should open but be blank.
Click the panel menu (icon on the tab)
CLick EDIT GUIDE TEMPLATE
remove the collections sections.
Close both guide windows
launch your saved layout.

If that's what you're doing and you're still crashing I'm fresh outa suggestions - beyond wait for beta 9. :-\

That seemed to work Thomas - Thanks! Wonder what the difference was... Last night it wouldn"t allow me to open the custom guide to edit it.... Oh well Praise God it works!
