Logos 4 Mac 4.0b Release Notes

To upgrade to Logos 4 Mac 4.0b Beta 2, you must type "Set update channel for beta".

NOTE: If you set your update channel to beta, you will not be able to go back to the stable channel until Logos 4 Mac 4.0b stable version is released.



Beta 2



Guides

  • Context Menu has been added to the Ring Graph and Density Graph in the Translation section.
  • Bible Word Study lemma auto-completion suggestions no longer
    change language indicator from gray to black after being unselected.
  • Various styling and performance improvements to the Word By Word section in the Exegetical guide:
    • The translated words (in context) are now aligned with one another.
    • The translated word and the surface text now link to the associated Bible translation.
    • Proper fonts are now used throughout the section.
    • Word highlighting in the verse header is faster, and more correct, too.


Library

  • Docking a floating Library tab into the main window will no longer cause the application to crash.


Resource Display

  • Improper spacing issues in Hebrew text should be resolved.
  • Non-printing control characters should no longer display in Hebrew text.


HomePage

  • Infographics now display on the home page on machines with lower
    resolution. This fixes Infographics display for certain users with
    1280x800 screens.

  • Copy/Paste/Print/Send To Keynote/Send To PowerPoint implemented for dynamic maps (The Biblical World)


Performance Enhancements

  • Various Performance Enhancements


Resource Display

  • Fixed an issue where first line of Hebrew text was clipped in BHS.

  • User Defined reference ranges can now be deleted. Fixes a regression from 4.0a
  • Search History items can now be deleted. Fixes a regression from 4.0a
  • Known issue: Enter no longer closes the reference range and search history popups.
