logos4 keeps stopping responding and closing
Last night I accepted the latest net update. I don't know if this is connected with the problem and intend to uninstall it just in case. Today Logos4 keeps not responding and then closing. First when I tried to link commentaries, various, and then when I was just using a commentary. I think I'd moved my mouse over the current Bible verse. Has anyone had the same problem?

It's unusual!
First restart the computer and ensure logging. Upload logs if the problem persists, together with a description of what you were doing.

It did it 3 or 4 times today. In fact it was some time since I'd done a reboot. Since I've done that, it's behaved. I was in my Bible study layout, using commentaries.

The logos4 log has no crash information but the Crash log should be of interest to the developers. Is it still behaving?

It behaved from the 12th till today, in daily use, hence delayed reply. After I rebooted it, it has been OK. [:)] I'll let you know if it misbehaves again. I'll also try rebooting if I have another problem, but still I'll send you the logs.

The crash is connected with Passage Guide | Parallel Passages section, but there is prior activity from web resources sections: PowerPointSermons & SermonAudio.
How had you moved from USB to WBC and had you accessed PG prior to that?

Dave, you are brilliant!
But I haven't used PowerPointSermons & SermonAudio, as far as I remember.
I don't think I accessed PG this time. I think I went straight to USB, and then accessed WBC on the next tab.
What do you suggest I do? Rebuild layouts from beginning? The one layout is adapted from the other.

Is your Passage Guide part of Link Set A? If so, the problem is most likely caused by the PG automatically updating when the active reference in the linked resource that you're in (WBC) is changed. I suggest temporarily removing the PG from Link Set A (and saving the change to your layout) while we investigate the issue.

I believe I've identified the cause of the crash; it should be fixed in 4.1 SR-5.

Incidentally, has anyone else been having similar crashes? Dave said it was unusual.

Is it likely to be OK till then with PG unlinked?
Yes; as far as I can tell, the problem can occur only when the Passage Guide is stopped (e.g., when updating because it's in a link set and the linked reference has changed).
