Would it be proper to ask a question about opinions on various training products that are available, either free or for a fee if the training isn't specifically provided by LOGOS?

Search me.  They talk about Accordance vs. Logos on the forums so I don't see why a training product would be a problem, but then I don't work for Logos.  I've been to Morris Proctor seminars and have some of his guides and they are great.  I've also used some stuff put out by John Falahee, who used to work at Logos and it's good too.

A google search for => site:community.logos.com training logos 4 mac

finds many forum threads discussing Logos Bible Software training, including

I'm not sure if this answers your question, James, but there is access to training available via the Logos website. See the progressive screenshots:

Thanks for the replies. Since no one has said its not ok to mention various training products and some have answered --thanks, here is my full question. I am interested in two types of training. One is to learn features that I may not know exist or how to use properly, the second is when you are trying to do something and just need a quick look to see exactly how its done.

I know their are several sources for training, MP, LearnLogos.com, LOGOS, Logos forum, Logos users, etc. Who/what do you use and recommend?

Thanks

James Alexander:

Logos videos and Wiki page http://wiki.logos.com/ show many features - both good for learning features.  Have seen a number of forum posts reference a Wiki page.  Now when replying to forum posts, do consider if question likely to be asked again - if so, what Wiki page(s) could be improved - several referenced in forum replies by other posters Smile

Another way to learn new features is reading release notes, then try to use features mentioned.  Likewise trying to replicate issues in forum posts good way to learn.

Posting feature question on forum - describing what trying to do in Logos, perhaps with screen shot(s) often receives quick replies (primarily volunteer posters).

Knowing MP created many videos for Logos web site, pondering Camp Logos.

Long time forum MVP user, Rosie Perera, has ""Learning Logos is an iterative process, and you've got to start somewhere." in her signature.

Tom - I am not aware of any one-on-one training. Were you thinking of online, or in person? Have you considered attending a "camp logos?"

In person would be perfect but I just got hooked up with John Fallahee and we are going to do a training course online.
