Bug 4.2a beta 2: Possible index/search bug
Searching for 666 in the ESV doesn't yield a result for Rev 13:13, despite the number appearing in that verse. Perhaps the footnote is causing a problem?

I've reproduced the problems and filed bug reports for both ("666" and "144,000").

The "666" issue will be fixed in the next beta. (FWIW, the bug also affects "245" (Ezra 2:66) and "928" (Neh 11:8) in the ESV.)

245 in Ezra works, but if I do "All Bible Text" in "All Passages" in ESV for
928 -> I get 0 results
666 -> I get 3 OT results but not Rev 13:13
in Beta 4. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes; sorry, I omitted this from my previous reply. You have to "rebuild bible index" to correct the problem (that has been written into the indexes you currently have).

Thanks Bradley, I suspected this might be the case so I started the Rebuild awhile ago - only an hour or so to go!

Rebuild Index done, 666, 928, and 245 searches work fine. Looking at all the associated threads, 144,000 and 12,000 do not return the proper results (144?000 and 12?000 do), but I am 99% sure this is a different problem to be fixed later.
Thanks...

This will be fixed in the next beta (no index rebuild required).
