BUG: Editing a (highlighting) style that uses color - color well is always black
Right-click on a user-defined style (that uses a custom font color) in the Highlighting panel and select Edit Style. Expand the Font Styling twistie and notice that the color well is black, and not the color that is assigned to the style. Change the color, press OK to dismiss the edit style window. Then re-edit and notice that the color well is still black.

I am seeing the same thing. I also found that when creating a new style, the color button doesn't function until the style is saved (clicked OK) and then edited. I'll report these bugs.

When is this bug going to be fixed? This is a trivial bug-fix and truly shouldn't take 7 months... :-( May I humbly restate my request (nay, plea) that Logos focus on fixing and polishing Logos 4 Mac before piling on ever more features (Personal Book builder being the latest addition to the pile) and adding ever more bugs. The forums (and release notes for latest betas) bear out what I'm saying... bug fixes are all focused on PBB, etc. while these issues are simply neglected or relegated to the realm of not-important.

Can replicate Black color for Font Styling in Logos 4.3 Release Candidate 1:
Preview shows Font Styling Color should be Red, not Black. To create Highlight style "Indicative - Mood", used Logos 4 Windows and choose a Red box in drop down for Font Styling (and Bold), then sync'd to Logos 4 Mac, which displays correctly in visual filters, but editing Font Styling Color needs improvement.
Thankful, Apple's color picker is working for other Highlighting color choices.
Keep Smiling [:)]

The text color is now persisted in 4.5 Beta 1; however, there is still a known issue in that the Font Styling color picker button doesn't function in the Mac version until the new style is saved. I've added the known issue to the release notes.
