Ketiv Qere

How do you display the Qere in BHS/WTS in Logos 4? I can only see the ketiv with reconstructed vowels.

Thank you. My BHS does not give me a "display" option, although most of my other resources do. I also tried this with AFAT. LHI does have a display option, but only for interlinears. I'm using the BHS WIVU that comes with the Original Languages Library (2006). How can I get it to display the Ketiv?

I also have the Westminster BHS 2006, and in Libronix 3.0 it does display Ketiv. Is there any way to get it to do the same in Logos 4?
Thanks!

Like we talked about on this thread, the thing you're calling the BHS 2006 is the 2.0 version of the Westminster database from the last century (filename BHSMORPH.lbxlls) - that 2006 date is meaningless from a content perspective, as that only indicates the last time it went through the compiler. That was before we had support for KQ readings, homograph numbers, lexicon look-up tables, and cantillation marks in addition to all the improvements the Westminster folk have put into their data in more than a decade. I don't recommend using that version for anything.

Yes, it is old, and thanks to your advice I finally updated. Your advice has been really helpful to me.
But it does display Ketiv/Qere in Libronix 3.0. All I have to do is click on a little "K" and the Ketiv comes right up. Heh, heh, I'm glad I kept the old Libronix around...it looks like I have to go back to last century in order to get this simple function! I would have expected this function to transfer over to 4.0. But there's no way to view K/Q with Westminster 1999, or WIVU, in Logos 4?

Actually, I do see that the Kethiv pop-ups are in the BHSMORPH volume in LDLS 3 and Logos 4. I didn't recall that our version of the Westminster 2.0 data included that information, but apparently it does. The AFAT also uses pop-up indicators, but for the Qere readings rather than the Kethiv. Different versions of the SESB Hebrew Bible handled it differently, one released with interlinear display and one with Qere pop-ups. And of course the current version of Westminster has the interlinear display.

Ah yes, thank you! I got the pop-up "K" to come in with Westminster and AFAT in Logos 4. I must have missed it earlier somehow.

ry do you mind posting a screen shot showing them? I am missing it unless I don't know what I am doing (which is possible). Thanks!

Hi
I have the Logos 4 Platinum package with BHS/WIVU, but I do not have Qere readings. Do I need to also purchase BHS/Westminster? or SESB? or both?
Or should I already have qere and I'm just not seeing how to see it?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Bill

Use Andersen-Forbes Analyzed Text where they show up as footnotes. See screenshot in Kevin Becker's reply above.
