Since this is no longer for sale on the Logos' web site, would it be a violation to tell people that there is a great price on the Luther's Works cd-rom right now? I found 129 great reasons to buy it.

Most CD-only resources that disappear from Logos' website tend to turn up again a few weeks later as downloads.

I don't know. An active link in the forums has two dangers of violating the guidelines.
- Even though it is not presently available on the Logos.com website it may return in the future as fgh said.
- The link location could be redirected by a savvy sales person to lead to other products that Logos still does offer.
Our posts, and any embedded links, can live on for YEARS.
An informational mention without active links would not be as bad, but I personally would still avoid naming it.
129 reasons? As in $129? That is good enough reason for a diligent Google search. Most people can find it.

Well, as a wise man said, "Predictions are difficult, especially with regard to the future." Logos might want to clarify policy on resources not listed for sale on their web page.
But here is a safe prediction. If you want to buy Luther's Works today it is not for sale on Logos.com at any price.
I certainly don't want to violate policy, and that is why I said no more than I did. But $129 is a good buy, and yes, it is lower than I found on Google. It is something that I, more or less, stumbled upon.

No, but it may well be if you call (or e-mail) a sales rep. And if you mention that price, it's even possible they can match it. In which case you'd save the shipping cost. So it's worth a try.

I couldn't find it via a diligent Google search (even though I already have it).
However a Google search for the following two numbers will give you the link (ignore Google's cached info): 0800603591 8698

I wouldn't have known how to give a numerical search. I have been excited to find a bargain on Luther's Works because I had long wanted them.

Glad you found this deal. I was excited to get it for a higher price. But I have no regrets because I've enjoyed it for a while. Sometimes it is difficult to decide between having a resource now at regular price or doing without it while waiting on a special offer.
Who know? March Madness may see a return of the Works of Luther..... Naww. Just kidding you, Michael.

Does this version of LW include the book of concord (confessiones etc)?
Just trying to find out why it is cheaper then other places.
