Continental Commentary Series: 1 & 2 Kings

Regarding this new title: http://www.logos.com/product/9224/continental-commentary-series-1-and-2-kings
I guess Logos is extracting the "About [author]" section from the print edition or the publisher's sales promotion - but every now and then it would be better if Logos double-checked these informations, at least for new Logos titles.
In this case, Volkmar Fritz is not "Professor of Old Testament", nor is he "Director of the Deutschen Evangelischen Instituts fur Altertumswissenschaft des Heiligen Landes" (by the way, correct German would be: "Deutsches Evangelisches Institut für Altertumswissenschaft des Heiligen Landes") - he was. That's because he died back in 2007.

Kind of like Pohle's 100-year-old Dogmatic Theology being presentied as "one of the clearest and most succinct systems of Roman Catholic theology in recent years". Yeah...
(I suspect, though, that this should better have been posted in the Website forum. Here, Logos might think that it is a thread asking about the value of the commentary, and not take the time to read it.)

You're right, I didn't think about that. Is there any way to move a thread?

Not that I know of. You could start a new thread under Website with just the title, a few words, and a link to this thread.
