What About the Theological Lexicon of the New Testament (TLNT)?

Do you have any thoughts or experiences using the TLNT?

I get the feeling from http://community.logos.com/forums/p/30695/227400.aspx that we pretty much ended up at the same conclusion as the last paragraph in the blog.  Clearly TLNT is not easy to put a label on; more reflective than other lexicons.

I have fond memories of Spicq being helpful with word studies when I was in seminary. I recently picked it up and I'm glad to have it to consult once again.

When I was at Wheaton College in the late 1950s my senior Greek professor, Berkeley Mickelsen [who in one two-your course led me through the entirety of Robertson's GRAMMAR!],  frequently quoted from Spiq.  It was all in French at that time and I didn't read French (and still don't).   So I was delighted to get his word studies from Logos.

I listed his work with my lexicons and was dismayed when it didn't show up during an exegetical search or when using my Nestle-Aland Greek testament.  The good folks at Logos tech support showed me that he only shows up in your search when he has a comment on the word you are reading---not for every word as you are accustomed to if using BAGD.

Good comment, David ... I added your words to the TLNT resource page http://wiki.logos.com/Resouce$3a_TLNT_(Theological_Lexicon_of_the_NT)

    Peace, Denise!

My daughter has spent a week at a spa in Sedona and raves about the town and the area.  She was well-received when she worshipped at one of your churches on her Sunday off from the spa.  She also did a fantastic amount of hiking.  Would love to see your beautiful area for myself!

               Nice web site, BTW!

    My question:

If one goes to the Wiki, how can one find the Resources Information pages from the Table of Contents?  I searched "resources" and got a lot of other wonderful items, but not that one.

Thank you Milford. I'm happy she was able to attend church while here. We're a small town with lots of new age people, so any help we can get is just great!

I didn't add it to the Wiki front page yet . I had asked for any comments first. http://community.logos.com/forums/t/31143.aspx

But I probably ought to go ahead and add it. Make sure you add YOUR comments to the various pages!

    HI Milford

If you go to the wiki and search for "resources" you will see an entry for "Resource Review". This provides access to the resources being reviewed including this one.

Denise, when talking about these new pages earlier today (http://community.logos.com/forums/t/31143.aspx), said that she hadn't yet linked it to the ToC as she was asking people to review it first.

    Hope this helps, Graham

Edit: Sorry, Denise replied while I was typing!

Blessings and Thank You to both Graham and Denise!

Graham, I still did not find it using resources in the "search" box!

However, I did find it under Miscellaneous on the main Wiki page.

Sorry to bother you. Should have found it the first time.

With 10,000 resources plus, the Wiki in this area could become quite large???

However, what is there is "good stuff"!
