Note Files for Mac

Can someone update me on the status of "note files" on the Mac? I have been hearing for about a year now that Logos is supposed to be working to correct the way that notes are accessed on a Mac. When you right click on a created note you are taken to the first page of the note file rather than to the specific note that you selected. Then you are left to scroll through your notes until you come to the specific note that you want to access for review and/or editing. On a PC when a specific note is selected you are taken immediately to that specific note. Is this ever going to be corrected on the Mac, and if so, does anyone know when that might be?
Thanks,
Tom

No one outside Logos knows what's going on with Notes. However, we've put together a new comprehensive suggestion on Uservoice, in order to show Logos that Notes are really really important to us. It made the first page in less than two days, and is still moving upwards, but we need all the votes we can get. Please go and vote for it here.

That is good advice, but Tom's problem (and mine) is that Notes in L4 Mac lag considerably behind Notes in L4 Win.
However, Tom, I would also recommend that you vote for the UserVoice suggestion. Someday, hopefully soon, Notes in L4 Mac will catch up with L4 Win. Then, you will see the shortcomings in the overall implementation of Notes in L4.

That's kind of my problem too... [;)] Which is why I insisted on having "Implement parity for Mac version" included in the Uservoice list, and fought hard to have it prioritized. However, because I was alone, and you and other Mac users didn't support me in this when the list was being prepared, I wasn't as successful as I would have wished.

Observation: wiki Feature Parity lists Notes first since PC has more capabilities than Mac (base code functionality needs UI exposure on Mac).

fgh - I can't get the quote function to work on your post. You were more successful than it appears. I posted the wrong version of the list - and posted the correct version as a note. You don't get the blame - it's my fault.

Yes, I know you posted an older list, and I seemed to remember I made some headway on this, I just couldn't remember exactly how much, and I was too lazy to go looking for the correct list to find out. [|-)] It wasn't that important. I just wanted to give Jack a nudge for not supporting me at the time. [:P]

I'm beginning to feel like Charlie Brown here ("Why is everybody always picking on me?") . I did have a cousin named Charlie Brown long before Peanuts became popular. He was several years older than I, and has now gone to his eternal reward.

Logos 4.5 provided reason to remove 18 items from Feature Parity list. Thankful for Logos 4.5 improvements on Mac for Notes [8-|]

Based on the statement "Dreaming about automatic hyperlink generation on Mac in a future release", am I correct in concluding that this is still not working on the Mac. I just tried it, having gotten used to it working on the PC version. But it didn't. I wasn't sure if it was a feature parity or a bug (not that there is much of a difference in terms of the end result).
Can anyone shed some light?

Logos updated wiki => http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_and_PC_User_Interface_Differences#Feature_Parity with Future Plans
PC Notes can automatically hyperlink scripture in notes while hyperlink can be manually added on Mac
Logos: We presently use operating system controls for rich text editing on each platform. The functionality is not the same on each, and we are unable to hook in at a low level to enable all the desired features on the Mac platform. Our long term plan is to replace the OS provided rich text editor with our own component, but until then we are unlikely to be able to advance the text editing features beyond their current state.Keep Smiling [:)]
