Do not upgrade from 4.2a SR-4 to 4.3 Beta 2

Because 4.2a SR-4 contains newer code than 4.3 Beta 2, you cannot upgrade from SR-4 to Beta 2.
(You can do it, in that the installer will complete because SR-4's version number is lower than Beta 2's version number, but the program will crash at startup due to changes made in the local data files by SR-4. This will be resolved when 4.3 Beta 3 is released with the latest code.)

Thanks for the warning Bradley.
I'm still on 4.3β2 so I'm not inclined to grab the SR releases.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

I'm on 4.3 Beta 2. Before reading your post, I tried to update to SR-4. It wouldn't.
Should I?

Any 4.3 beta is an update of any 4.2a; not the other way around. You need to wait for 4.3 Beta 3.
