placing a book in shortcuts

How does one put a book in the shortcut of a 2 column screen Nestle aland GNT and lexham syntactical guide?

Hi William, welcome to the forums.  I am not sure exactly what you are wanting to do.  Perhaps you could rephrase your question.  If you are just wanting to put a single book on the shortcut bar at the top of the screen, just left click on the tab and hold it down and drag it to the shortcut bar and when you see the black vertical bar appear, release it.  If you are wanting to add a book to a guide, meaning a custom guide patterned after lets say the passage guide, then you would have to make a collection of that book and then add it to the custom guide.  If you want that book to appear on your layout with the GNT and a Lexham book, you have to create a layout.  If we understand more specifically what you want to do, someone can direct you to a wiki page, show you a screen shot or try to give you more precise instructions.

Thanks for the help Jerry, I just wanted to put a book on the shortcut. I was able to do it. I find this software a bit challenging to manipulate!
