PBB Suggestion: Dummy Book Pointing to Subsection of Multi-Volume Work Already Within Logos

I've suggested this in another form, but I am bringing it up again as PBB may be a good way to accomplish this.

It is incredibly annoying to try to find books that included within whole sets of works. For example, try finding City of God by Augustine in your collection. If you own Schaff's Nice & Post Nicene Fathers you have it but it'll take some effort to find it.

I would like to create a book: City of God by Augustine that is just a dummy placeholder pointing to logosres:npnf02;ref=Augustine.De_civ._Dei_1;off=-16

I may actually end up doing this eventually and just make a whole bunch of personal books that contain nothing but a link like that. But I don't think that it should be necessary.

Logos, can you please make a personal book option that would mirror a selection of content that already exists in our library such as this.

Or alternatively, implement one of these uservoice suggestions

The reason why I think Personal Books might be a good option for Logos to deal with multi volume work splitting:

It lets us (users) do the work
It encourages us to use Logos' already prepared editions of these largely public domain works that we've paid for (i.e. increases value of paid versions)
Via sharing, we can only download the dummy files for works which we (the user) want split up within our library.

One of the things I've been working on is creating additions to the Early Church fathers from a public domain web site. A piece of the index is shown below. The left columns of links are to websites; the right column of links (which doesn't work) are to Logos resources ... I currently have 1 PBB entered in that column ... but that will grow.

Yes, this sounds like a good thing to use PBB for. I've long wanted a way to deal with the multi-volume work problem. However I'd also like to be able to restrict searches to collections that contain single volumes within a multi-volume work (for example, all my Art books -- I'd want them to include Schaeffer's book Art and the Bible but not his other works (they're all together in one resource). The PBB solution would solve that. But it would still give us something useful, and I'd like that.

That's great, thanks - I'll have a trawl through.

In the meantime, have you ever read Michael Card's "Scribbling in the Sand"? More devotional, but a helpful read for anyone with creative gifts who wishes to see them used effectively in the Master's service!

Perhaps my favourite expression of what art is for, from the perspective of someone who likes to create as an act of worship, is found in the wonderful song by Sinead O'Connor:
